Teddy Irungu is the Head Research Analyst at Rock Advisory, where he plays a key role within the research team. He provides clients with up-to-date analysis on both macroeconomic and microeconomic trends, disseminating insights through regular reports that support investment decisions, portfolio construction, and rebalancing strategies.

In addition to client-facing responsibilities, Teddy also supports internal teams by delivering in-depth market, sector, and company-level insights, with his analysis assisting advisory services in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic business evaluations.

Teddy brings a strong foundation in financial services, with deep expertise in equity valuation, financial modeling, fixed income analysis, and client advisory. Prior to joining Rock Advisory, he worked at AIB AXYS Africa, where he developed equity valuation and fixed income pricing models, produced strategic investment reports, and facilitated investor education through media briefings.

He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. Teddy is also pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation—he has successfully passed Level I and is currently preparing for Level II. He is passionate about financial analysis and is committed to applying his technical knowledge to drive impactful and data-driven investment decisions.
